Their primary goal is to attract a following - not to present &quot;boring&quot; facts.  One key is to be alert to stocks that the media is hyping for a move in one direction and the facts do not support that move.  It can create a temporary movement in stock price that you can take advantage of before it adjusts back to where it should be based on the facts.
