Let’s see if this describes you. You are one of those who wants to put their money to work but you have no experience in matters of money. You may have a better chance of doing heart surgery than you do investing money. With that in mind, I’ve put together a list of ways to invest your money. I organized the list from easiest to most difficult. Everybody can do at least a few of these.

Extra income ideas that anybody can do:

1.) Start a savings account at a bank or credit union
2.) Start a money market account
3.) Open a Certificate of deposit at a bank or credit union

A little bit tougher but not all that hard

4.) Invest in 2 safe stocks. (Exxon, General Electric, Apple, for example)
5.) Purchase shares in a mutual fund
6.) Start a small business or invest in a friend’s business

Extra income idea that will take some education but in time you will make a lot of money.

7.) Purchase undervalued stocks that you believe will rise in value
8.) Purchase covered call options (People pay you to “rent” your stocks)
9.) Invest in an initial public offering
10.) Invest in foreign currency.
